These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Trapper's Edge (the "Service"), operated by Mac Real Studios ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
The Service helps you plan, size, and journal trades, and (optionally) import your own brokerage fills for review. All numbers it displays — including sizing, risk, and profit/loss — are estimates and may be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete. You are responsible for independently verifying every figure before acting on it. Optional features include a weekly email summary of your own journal (off by default; turn it off in Settings at any time) and copy-ready order-ticket text, which is a transcription of numbers you entered — not an order, and not a recommendation.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
If you connect a brokerage account through SnapTrade, you authorize us to retrieve read-only account activity for display and journaling. We do not place, modify, or cancel orders, and we are not your broker, adviser, or agent. Imported data may be delayed, cached, incomplete, or misclassified; verify it against your brokerage's official records.
Optional "Edge Intelligence" features use an AI model (Google Gemini) one of two ways: with an API key you provide, in which case requests go directly from your browser to Google under your key and its terms; or, for Pro subscribers without their own key, through our built-in AI, where prompts pass through our server component to Google, are not stored, and are rate-limited per account. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, is generated automatically, and is not advice. Review all generated content before relying on it.
Optional market-data features (such as the regime suggestion) use a market-data API key you provide, and requests go directly from your browser to the data provider under that key and its terms. Market data may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete, and any suggestion derived from it is informational only — nothing changes in the app until you apply it, and nothing about it is advice.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to break security, reverse-engineer paid features, resell access, or use it unlawfully.
The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding your own data), is owned by Mac Real Studios and protected by applicable laws. Your journal data remains yours.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation is accurate. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Mac Real Studios AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mac Real Studios from claims and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes take effect when posted (with an updated date). Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
